Urban were approached by the Gold Coast City Council (GCCC) to recreate a timber setting that had been destroyed when hit by a car. Located in the Burleigh Precinct, this setting was originally designed and created by a local artist for Council.

Gold Coast City Council wanted the re-creation of the setting to be as close as possible to the original. What we were given to work with was two small images and some broken pieces of timber from the old setting as a guide.

Armed only with the images and the pieces of old broken timber, the team at Urban set about to recreate a setting that would replicate (as close as possible) the original piece.

The end result was a strong, sturdy replica setting made from quality timber and treated with a double stain and high quality coating for durability. Urban installed the setting in its original Burleigh Precinct location to be enjoyed by both the locals and visitors.
