Keeping products out of landfill is a key component of creating a sustainable circular economy.
The Urban+ Trade-In Program allows customers to trade-in their old drinking fountain, no matter if it’s an Urban+ manufactured fountain or not, and in return, we will provide a trade-in credit that can be used on other Urban+ products or services.
Every traded-in drinking fountain will be assessed for either refurb and reuse or considerately recycled. If an Urban+ drinking fountain has been traded-in and is suitable for refurbishment, it will be restored to like ‘new’ before being on-sold at a reduced cost.
If Urban+ did not manufacture the traded-in drinking fountain we will still happily accept it and assess whether it can be refurbished and gifted to a worthy cause through the Urban+ Foundation. If it is beyond repair, we will considerately recycle it.
By gifting drinking fountains to charities and community groups that may not have the funds to purchase a new fountain themselves, we are able to provide them with a valuable asset that can be enjoyed for many years to come while also helping to keep fountains out of landfill.
Absolutely. We welcome suggestions of worthy causes or charities that would benefit from having a refurbished drinking fountain, however, Urban+ Management must also agree.
Yes you can, however, there will be a limit on the trade-in allowance given to use on other Urban+ products or services.
Nature takes its toll on outdoor drinking fountains, so we ask all businesses who require replacements, does the replacement have to be new? Our restoration service allows customers to return their old Urban+ drinking fountain so that we can make it like ‘new’ again. We believe restoring old drinking fountains can have a positive impact on the environment while leading change for the Australian manufacturing industry.
